Terms of Service

1. The Service

FunShots provides a platform for sharing and discovering user-submitted screenshots, memes, and related content. Features may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

2. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (and not under 13) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for accurate account information and for safeguarding your credentials. Notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
• One person or entity should not maintain multiple accounts to evade enforcement or mislead others, unless we expressly permit it.

3. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit (“User Content”). By posting User Content, you grant FunShots a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and create derivative works (such as thumbnails or format conversions) as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service, subject to your account settings and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate these Terms or applicable law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, violent, sexually explicit in a non–office-safe way, or otherwise objectionable material.
• Impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or manipulate metrics (including artificial reactions or spam).
• Upload content you do not have rights to share, or that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Distribute malware, scrape the Service in bulk without permission, or attempt to bypass security or rate limits.
• Use the Service for unsolicited advertising, pyramid schemes, or fraudulent activity.

Community guidelines, upload rules shown in the product, and moderation decisions supplement these Terms.

5. Moderation & enforcement

We may review, remove, restrict, or refuse User Content or accounts that we believe violate these Terms, harm users or the Service, or are required to be removed by law. We may cooperate with law enforcement when legally required. Termination or suspension may occur with or without prior notice depending on severity and legal obligations.

6. Intellectual property

The Service’s design, branding, and software are owned by FunShots or its licensors. Except for your User Content and rights expressly granted here, no rights are transferred to you. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, see our DMCA information and contact options.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FUNSHOTS AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (USD $50), IF APPLICABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN SUCH CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

9. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FunShots and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in Pakistan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
